DESCRIPTION:For our second tournament\, folks will be competing for glory (and gift cards) in Mario Kart 64.\nAll skill levels and ages are welcome.\nThis event will take place on Saturday\, February 21st.\nSign ups will begin at 11am the day of the tournament.  There will be a minimum of 2 participants and a maximum of 32 with 4 alternates in case of no shows.\nRoll call will be at 5:30pm and the tournament will begin promptly at 6:00pm.\nThe tournament is single elimination.  Rounds 1 and 2 will be 4 player with the winner advancing and the final round(s) being head to head.\nAll items\, characters and courses will be playable.\nCourses will be randomly selected.\nConflicts over who gets to be which character will be settled with coin flips.\nGame Over Video Games will provide the system\, game and controllers.  No personal copies\, controllers\, systems or any accessories will be allowed.\nAny attempt at cheats or shortcuts will not be tolerated and will result in disqualification.\nThis is a family friendly event so keep comments positive.  Cheering is enthusiastically encouraged.  Heckling or foul language will result in DQ and removal from the tournament.\nThe winner will receive a $50 gift card and second place gets a $25 gift card (Assuming at least 8 participants.  Fewer will result in $20 for first and $10 for second.)

DESCRIPTION:Our first ever arcade Olympics will take place on February 8th. The format will include the following games. \nMs Pacman\nDig Dug\nQ-Bert\nMissile Command\nAsteroids\nGalaxian\nDonky Kong\nGalaga 88\nCentipede\nTetris\n*Mystery game to be announced the day of \nThe point system will work as follows:\n-1st place for any particular game will receive 10 points\, 2nd place will receive 9 points\, and so on\, all the way down to 1 point for 10th place.\n-All points will be added up at the end of the event\, and player with the most points will win the competition.\n-Each player can play games as much as they want\, but must give up the machine if there is another waiting player.\n-Only one score per game can be submitted to the judges. \nBecause we are allowing players to have as many chances as possible\, player will have to strategize on how to allocate their time\, especially with the consideration that some games will be occupied more than others. \nRegistration starts at 4pm\, at which time the event will start. All point submissions will be stopped at 9pm. \n$75 cash plus trophy will be given to first place (GOLD)\n$50 cash plus trophy will be given to second (SILVER)\n$25 cash plus trophy will be given to third (BRONZE) \nEntry fee is $5\, plus quarter drop for each game.
