9 teams came to the yard to claim our milkshake in the last episode of season 3!
Our final game for season 3 was heavy with the media! Our non-video game round featured clips from Cartoon network, while even the graphic round featured animated GIFs! This month had the first round of animated GIF questions, thanks to our Player’s Choice round, FOOD!
9 teams fought for a cash prize totaling $54 along with a half-time prize pool that included a Mario Kart key chain, a rare Resident Evil Zero marketing standee, and a factory sealed copy of Kinect Rush (not to mention free beer)!
Round 1 (VIDEOGAMES) featured a powerful last question, worth a total of 5 points for guessing the names of all animals in Donkey Kong Country for the SNES (Thanks, Geeks Who Drink!). Trumps Children of Anchor and They Followed Us On Twitter took full advantage, earning 5 and 4 points respectively!
Next up, round 2 featured some animated GIFs from giphy.com. It was also our Player’s Choice round, courtesy of Cleveland On Fire! 2nd Quizins managed to earn their first (and only) point in the first half by correctly identifying Chip ‘n Dale: Rescue Rangers! Only The Woodmen knew the answer to question 8. See if you can correctly answer this question below:
Next up, the non-video game round [ADULT SWIM]. Drinks Awakening DX and The Rumble Pak both had strong showings, earning a full 8 out of 8 points for this round! This was a difficult video round, only showing a few seconds of the intro to an Adult Swim show, kudos to the teams that did well on this round!

Before starting the second half of trivia, we had our half-time round. This month, the half time bonus round was Games In Rare Replay! With 30 potential answers, many teams got the full 10 points possible.
Round 4 this month was a new round: TRUE or FALSE (NES edition). A Link To The Pabst lived this round to the fullest, getting every answer correct, and earning bonus questions on 3 of the 4 possible answers.
Our video round this month was THUG LYFE. I may have conflated a couple of internet memes, but I think I did alright on this one 🙂 At least Super Ultra Trivia Team 2.5 HD Remix Tournament Edition might think so, as they got a perfect score.
Our Final Round, Secret Sequels (Or Secrells as I call them) was tough. The Libliteers did a great job and ultimately managed to earn points in the dangerous last round.
